The new bbStat statistics system was introduced at the end of 2021. The old system had already been set up in 2006 and it was time to upgrade the system behind the site. The site still focuses on the regional leagues of men's basketball around the Tampere region, but with the upgrade, the system was then expanded so that statistics on other leagues will also be possible in the future. So if you would like a new league to be tracked by the site and you are ready to insert the game records into the system, please contact the site administrator. In the 2021-2022 season, the Basketball Federation's leagues switched to electronic game records, and as a result, the insertion of game records into the system was partially automated and significantly accelerated.
The new system is still somewhat under development, and maintenance is happy to receive development ideas.
